Welcome back!

I had this blog since 2007., and in those early years, I mostly used it to present different solutions on how you can make your SharePoint deployment better and more useful. This blog was one of the reasons I co-founded Syskit, an ISV that is still in the SharePoint / Microsoft 365 space. As my job shifted from being a SharePoint consultant to being a CEO, designing products, and running a company, I had no more “SharePoint Use Cases” to talk about, and this blog slowly died into oblivion.

I recently listened to a podcast by Jason Fried, (The power of personal branding), and it made me think. I need to restart my blogging effort. I enjoyed it at the time, and it helped me not just start the company but also meet a lot of cool people from the community, who became my friends.

This time around, the focus will change from talking about “SharePoint Use Cases” to talking more about running a business in the software industry. There are many different software business blogs around like Joel or Matt who I read regularly, and there are a lot of similar posts on X and LinkedIn.

So, welcome back to my revived and rebranded blog, now called Toni on Tech!

PS To prevent falling into that trap of promising more blogs and then not doing much, I already published Stay productive by utilizing keyboard shortcuts, Master Your Inbox: 12 Essential Email Efficiency Tips for Outlook UsersHow to write a CV that stands out in 2024: Top tips from a hiring manager, and We Don’t Need No Notifications! to feed into it.
