We Don’t Need No Notifications!

Yesterday, while sitting next to someone whose phone buzzed every other minute, I couldn’t help but wonder: do we really need all these notifications and how do people manage to stay focused amidst such distractions?

Here’s how I do it:
📵 Calls: Consider setting your phone to silent—family can always reach you via a designated ringtone.
🔕 Apps: Instead of noisy alerts, a simple badge notification can be less intrusive. Let’s face it, you are on your phone all day long anyhow.
📧 Emails: A subtle badge or icon in your tray might be all you need. Skip the alerts to maintain your focus.
💬 Chat: Limit notifications to visual indicators only; even a badge may sometimes be distracting.

This is the way to get your focus back!
